One dock, a lot of great fishing
Every Big Fin Charters trip leaves from the downtown Fernandina Beach waterfront on South Front Street. From there we fish the St. Marys inlet jetties, the Amelia River and Intracoastal Waterway, and the offshore waters east of Amelia Island. Guests come to us from all over Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. Pick your area below to plan your trip.
Where our guests come from
- Amelia Island, FL: fishing charters for guests staying anywhere on the island, from the resorts on the south end to Main Beach.
- Fernandina Beach, FL: our home port, with the dock right in the historic downtown.
- Jacksonville, FL: about an hour north of downtown Jacksonville by I-95 and A1A.
- St. Marys, GA: fish the St. Marys inlet jetties from the Florida side, under an hour’s drive from St. Marys and Kingsland.

Trips we offer
We run half day (4 hour) and 3/4 day (6 hour) jetty trips around the St. Marys inlet and the inland waters of Amelia Island, plus offshore trips from 6 to 12 hours for reef, bottom and trolling action. Learn more on our jetty fishing and offshore fishing pages.
